After leaving Seiko Epson to pursue winemaking, Yoshiharu Kounishi studied at Shiojiri Wine University's inaugural class and began grape cultivation in 2015. In 2019, he established his winery on a scenic hill overlooking Mount Hotaka along the "Alps Tenbō Shinonome no Michi" foothill route connecting Matsumoto and Shiojiri. Originally from Higashihiroshima City, Kounishi brings precision and dedication to crafting wines from grapes nurtured in this rich natural environment, combining his technical background with newfound viticultural expertise.
