HASE de KODAWAAR WINERY was established in 2022 by Fukahiro Hasegawa and his wife Yoko in Nagano's Nihon Alps. Fukahiro studied soil science at Chiba University and, after leaving a chemical company, trained at Shiojiri Wine University. Combining scientific knowledge with practical winemaking experience, the couple pursues their vision of ideal winemaking in the alpine terroir.
