Since 2017, Naohisa Abiko of Abbey's Vines has cultivated wine grapes in Tateshina Town, while Tsuyoshi Yamaoka of MC's Vines began grape growing in Komoro City in 2023. In September 2023, they jointly established a winery in Tateshina Town, becoming the second winery in the area after Tateshinapple Winery. Centered on Abiko's vineyard at the foot of Mount Tateshina and Yamaoka's vineyard near Mount Asama in Komoro, they separately vinify their harvested grapes. Named "Deux Montagnes" (Two Mountains), the winery expresses two distinct terroirs through individual wines crafted by these two vignerons under one roof.
