Takahirow Ogino, originally from Yamanashi, relocated with his wife Tomoko to Tōmi City in 2015, beginning cultivation of Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Chardonnay. In 2019, restaurant operator Ozami World established the winery where Ogino leads winemaking, focusing on expressing each grape's potential through viticulture that harnesses natural power. The name "Les Vins Vivants" (Living Wines) reflects their philosophy of creating vibrant, expressive wines.
