Since 2018, a former dam construction spoil ground has been transformed into productive vineyards. After four years of trial cultivation testing 40 varieties, the operation now focuses on organic farming of Japan-bred hybrid grapes. In 2024, a 200-year-old earthen storehouse was renovated to house the winery in Asakawa, Nagano, combining environmental restoration with historic preservation.
