Yasuyuki Yumoto, who cultivated and vinified at St. Cousair, returned to his hometown Takayama Village in 2007 to begin grape growing. Cultivating Chardonnay, Merlot, and Barbera, Yumoto realized his long-cherished goal in 2015 when he completed the village's first winery, bringing professional winemaking expertise back to his roots.
