Opened in 2008 near the center of Nagano Prefecture, Azumino Winery offers stunning views of the Northern Alps and seasonal landscapes from its Southern European-style building set among gently sloping vineyards of Chardonnay, Merlot, and other varieties. Guided by their motto of crafting wines with a "clear and clean taste," the winery cultivates grapes on-site and plans to expand vineyards while increasing in-house production. The spacious grounds feature well-maintained vineyards and a terrace for relaxation with vineyard views. Visitors enjoy free tastings of 4-5 wines regularly, with limited-release wines available for purchase, alongside the locally produced Azumino Drinkable Yogurt made from fresh milk, making this a compelling destination for wine lovers and families alike.
