Completed in September 2023 in Kurakake, Tomi City, this winery emphasizes harmony with its surroundings by omitting signs, blending seamlessly into the historic village landscape. Owner Yuichiro Hirai, formerly a judicial scrivener in Tokyo, relocated to Nagano in 2018 at age 52. He studied winemaking as a fifth-term student at Chikumagawa Wine Academy while concurrently training in agriculture at Shinshu Ueda Farm. Two years later, he began new farming, culminating in the winery's establishment as a testament to his mid-life career transformation.
