Kimura Vineyard

Kimura Vineyard represents over three decades of dedication to Pinot Noir cultivation in Hokkaido's premier wine region. While the formal winery operation began in 2017, the Kimura family's journey with viticulture started much earlier, establishing them as 'Japan's leading Pinot Noir grower.' Located in Yoichi's Nobori area, their vineyard has become legendary among Japanese wine enthusiasts for producing exceptional Pinot Noir grapes that have supplied multiple renowned wineries including Chitose Winery for over 30 years. The family's expertise in growing this notoriously difficult grape variety in Hokkaido's challenging climate has earned them recognition throughout Japan's wine industry.
