Mitsuhiro Hase, formerly with a major foreign record company, founded Domaine Hase in 2017 in Nagano's Chikumagawa region. The winery's distinctive approach involves fermenting multiple grape varieties grown in the same vineyard using wild yeast, allowing natural microflora to create wines that authentically express their terroir.
