NIKI Hills Winery

NIKI Hills Winery began operations in 2014 and opened to the public in July 2019, aiming to create a 'Northern Paradise' as a large-scale tourism winery. On a vast 28-hectare site, approximately 15,000 grapevines have been planted, with current grape cultivation spanning 10 hectares. Equipped with a distillery, underground cellar, and state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, they cultivate European varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Kerner. Since autumn 2019, they have also begun using grapes from their own estate. The attached hotel offers farm stay experiences overlooking vineyards and natural forests, providing diverse year-round activities including wine tasting, winery tours, fruit harvesting, and nature garden walks. This comprehensive wine tourism destination represents a new model for Hokkaido wineries, combining premium wine production with luxury hospitality and agricultural tourism.
